Ask us to remove a video.
If a video on MemeSwap shows you in an intimate image that you did not agree to have posted, you can ask us to take it down. You do not need a MemeSwap account and you do not need a lawyer. Fill in the form below.
What happens after you send it
- You get a reference number straight away. Keep it. It is how you and we refer to the same request.
- We send a confirmation to the email address you give us.
- We remove the video within 48 hours of a valid request, and usually much sooner. This is the law, not a target.
- We also look for copies of the same video elsewhere on MemeSwap and remove those too.
- We tell you what we did. If we do not remove it, we tell you why.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also reach the NCMEC Take It Down service, which helps remove images of people who were under 18 when the image was made.

Something else wrong with a video (a scam, harassment, spam): use the report button on the video itself in the app, which reaches the same people.
Anything involving a child: we act on it immediately and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as United States law requires.

We keep a record of every request and what we did about it. Removing a video in good faith after a request like this is protected, so if we are unsure we will take it down and sort it out afterwards.
