How much does it cost to buy a meme coin?

Three costs: the network's gas (a fraction of a cent on Solana, cents to a few dollars on Ethereum), the app's fee (MemeSwap charges a flat 0.85% per swap, shown before you sign), and slippage, the difference between the quoted and executed price, which grows with the size of your order against the pool's liquidity. Some tokens add their own buy or sell tax in the contract; MemeSwap shows it on the token page.
