What does liquidity mean for a meme coin?

Liquidity is the value sitting in the token's pool, the pair of the token and the chain's coin that every trade is made against. It decides how far your order moves the price: a $500 buy into a $5,000 pool moves it about 10%, into a $500,000 pool about 0.1%. It also decides whether you can sell later: if the deployer can withdraw the pool, the market can vanish.

MemeSwap shows liquidity on every token page and marks pages under $5,000 as thin. Read liquidity pools explained.

Meme coins are highly volatile and can lose all of their value; nothing on this page is investment advice.
