Fees: the 85 bps model, per chain

One rate, 0.85% of the quoted value, proven on every executable route. This page says how that rate is collected on each chain, what the bridge providers add, where creator rewards come from, and what is never charged.

Updated 2026-09-17. All documentation.

The rate

The standard MemeSwap fee is 0.85%, 85 basis points, on fee-enabled trades (fees.html). It is charged on the quoted value in the chain's native coin: on a buy that is the native amount paid in, on a sell the quoted native amount out. The amount is computed with exact integer math in base units; rounding can matter on the smallest trades. Every executable route has to prove it carries exactly 85 bps of MemeSwap fee, and a route that cannot is refused rather than served at a different rate. The transaction review in your wallet shows the rate, asset, amount and recipient, and that review is authoritative.

How it is collected, per chain and provider

MemeSwap does not run its own pools. Each chain has a swap provider, and the fee rides on that provider's own fee mechanism, so the way it appears in the transaction differs by chain.

ChainsProviderHow the 85 bps is taken
Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, HyperEVM, Unichain, Sonic, Linea, Robinhood Chain, Berachain, MonadKyberSwap aggregatorFee parameter on the route: charged on the native input for a buy and on the native output for a sell; the fee receiver always gets the native coin.
Abstract, Blast, Mantle, Cronos, Ink, ZKsync Era, ScrollLI.FIIntegrator fee, a fraction of the input amount, skimmed at build time and priced into the quote so the quoted output already reflects it.
PulseChainPulseX v1 and v2 routers (no aggregator covers the chain)MemeSwap quotes both routers and takes the better fill; the fee is taken from the output by an immutable fee router.
SolanaJupiterPlatform fee on the swap through a Jupiter referral account.
SuiCetus aggregatorA disclosed fee added to the swap input, plus network gas (this is the example fees.html uses).
TONSTON.fiReferral fee on the swap. Only offered while the canonical fee is at or below 100 bps.
Cross-chain (bridge)LI.FI, deBridge DLN, Across, CCTP, RelayLI.FI routes carry the integrator fee. deBridge DLN orders that start on an EVM chain carry an affiliate fee of exactly ${FEE_BPS} bps, taken in the order's intermediate token; DLN orders that start on Solana are deliberately not charged.

Depending on the route the fee is therefore deducted from the input, deducted from the output, or added as a separate transfer inside the same transaction. It is always one of those, never a second transaction and never a later charge. See Chains for which provider serves which network.

Bridge fees

A cross-chain route is quoted by a bridge provider and shows that provider's own costs (relayer, destination gas, protocol fee) in the route breakdown. MemeSwap's share on top is the integrator fee on LI.FI routes and the 85 bps affiliate fee on EVM-origin deBridge DLN orders described above. Two cautions from fees.html apply with more force to bridges: a completed source-chain transaction or fee is not automatically reversed if a later bridge step fails, and the provider's delivery and refund terms govern that case. Read the bridge preflight checklist before a first bridge.

Creator rewards

When a buy is attributed to a creator's reel, part of the 85 bps goes to that creator. The buyer still pays exactly 85 bps; the split is between MemeSwap and the creator, and the desk signer refuses any route whose fee lines do not add up to 85 bps or whose creator share exceeds 50 bps.

TierCreator shareRequirements (rolling 30 days)
creator25 bps of the 85None: every creator starts here
partner50 bps of the 85$5,000 of verified attributed buy volume, 25 distinct buyers (a wallet counts once its attributed buys reach $5), 500 followers

Followers alone never change the tier, because follows are free to fake; the partner tier needs verified on-chain buy volume from distinct buyers.

Referral rewards

Referral rewards are not a fee and are not paid from the trade fee. They are funded from a dedicated escrow wallet per campaign and paid only while a campaign is running. The current configured campaign is $10 in ETH per friend: up to $10 in ETH on Robinhood Chain per friend whose first swap is $10 or more and holds through a 48 hour hold, capped at $100 per referrer per campaign and $599 per person or device per year across all campaigns. What is never charged

Top 10 baskets

A basket splits the entered USD amount across up to 10 eligible tokens on one network (tokens with at least $5,000 of liquidity and no copy-token flag). Each leg is a separate swap with its own 85 bps fee, price impact, token tax and gas; you review the plan and each wallet request.

Gas, approvals and failures

An approval transaction on an EVM chain costs gas before the swap does. A failed transaction can still consume gas. If gas sponsorship is ever offered, its charge must appear separately before you confirm; do not assume sponsorship, a fee exemption or a quoted output is available on every route. Trades from the operator's own treasury wallets are not charged, and a route built for one says so in its memeswapFee field rather than hiding it.

Nothing here is financial advice. Meme coins are high risk and most lose value. The transaction review and wallet confirmation are authoritative for any live route. Read the full risk disclosure.
